Kindness

"Kindness is the essence of greatness." -Joseph B. Wirthlin 

I personally believe this quote means that kindness is key. If you are kind you can receive many awards, the most important award is the great feeling of your clean conscience. This quote is pretty much self-explanatory, Wirthlin believes that kindness is the beginning to greatness. Examples of this quote in real life situations can be when you see a cuddly, stray dog with a collar, kindness in this situation would be if you somehow made sure the dog was not fearful at all, and take him home. You of course would would look for flyers about missing dogs and if you find one with that dog on it then you take him back to his home. A humanly situation can be if you see an elderly lady on the bus, there is no free seats so you, from the kindness of your heart, decide to give up the comfy seat you had for her. There are many different ways to express the kindness inside you, and once the kindness is unleashed, you are sure to have the essence of greatness unleashed upon you and your well being.
