U.S. Naval Information System Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:
Naval Information System Technicians are sailors who take care of responsibilities such as network administration, database management, and computer hardware/software implementation. They can often be found operating Navy global satellite telecommunications systems, serving as an admin on mainframe computers and local networks, adding micro-computer systems on the fleet, and serving as an important part of the Information Dominance Corps as they try to gain a deep understanding of inner works of adversaries and unmatched knowledge during wartime.

In order to at least consider this career you must have normal color perception, normal hearing, no speech impediment, and you must be a U.S Citizen. It will also vary if you are enlisted in the army, have been enlisted in army, and/or not enlisted in the army.

I would like to be one because it has always been a dream of mine to work in the technology field and with this career I not only get to do that, but I also get the great responsibility of serving my country. A tiny thing that does make me think twice about this career is the salary.
