Finally ! a quote said by a woman! Okay so on this historic event we learned about a story involving two softball teams: Westen Oregon and Central Washington. This even was a true CTR experience beacuase it involved one team helping another team. How you ask, well I'll explain it. So the story begins with a player from Western Oregon, Sarah Tucholsky, saying how she has never hit a home run before. On this particular game though, she hits the ball soo hard it goes to the other side of the field. She ofcourse was sooo excited soo immediatley started running UNTIL she injured her leg by going to one base to the other. She collapsed and tried her best to crawl to the last bases and all of her team mates wanted to help her but they couldn't help her because it was againstgame rules. Sooooo low and behold two players from the Central Washington team, Mallory Holtman and Liz Wallace, asked the umpire if they could help her and so the umpire said yes and sooo did Sarah when they aksed her if they could give her a lift. SOoo they carried her all along the remaining bases and dropped one of her feet so she could touch each of them. The Western Oregon team eneded up winning, but in spirit and honor it was the Centeral Washington players. Other than this I believe the team behaved very honorably and showed us what true team spirit really was. They showed us how it doesnt matter if we win or lose, what does matter is how you choose the right while helping and respecting others. We should all follow this quote by helping people in need, choose the right!
