Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Duties and Responsibilities:
These type of surgeons perform surgery on the mouth, jaws. and related head and neck structures to do things such as: extractions of teeth, remove tumors and other abnormal growths, correct jaw relations, prepare mouth for an insertion of teeth, and/or treat fractured jaws. Before this they may also administer the needed anesthetics and collaborate with other professionals for an effective treatment.
Salary: $232,870
Education:
For this job you need a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Then you need to go to dental school for 4 years, and after that most complete a 4- year residency program as a training for the job.
