Osteopathic Physician

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Osteopathic physicians diagnose, treat, prescribe medications, and perform surgery. They work in partnership with their patients to achieve the highest amount of wellness. In an ordinary day they would examine patients and their medical histories, perfoem diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment for patients, and counsel patients about their health.

Salary: $204k- $443k

Education: 

You need 11 to 17 years of education to become an osteopathic physician. You at least need 3 years of college or a bachelor's degree to transfer to an osteopathic medical school. That means in college you must keep your GPA up and join extracurricular activities. 

Demand for this Particular Career: 

For this career you have to be well rounded, have good communication skills, and motivated. This career is thought to grow 14% from the years 2014-2024, this is because of the growing population.
